Richemont is hiring a Hospitality Ambassador in Kuala Lumpur to deliver personalised VIP client service and manage boutique guest experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary welcoming presence for clients, delivering personalised, discreet and anticipatory service across boutique and client-facing environments.
- Manage client appointments, coordinate VIP visits and support showroom logistics to ensure a seamless in-person experience.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships through attentive follow-up, tailored recommendations and collaboration with sales teams.
- Support the organisation and execution of client events, private viewings and trunk shows in close liaison with maison teams.
- Capture and update client preferences and interaction notes accurately to preserve a high-quality clienteling record.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and internal departments (sales, after-sales, concierge services), escalating requests and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain refined product knowledge across maison collections and communicate features, provenance and craftsmanship with authority.
- Uphold boutique standards for presentation, hospitality protocol and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven background in luxury hospitality, high-end retail or client-facing concierge roles; hospitality training or boutique experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal etiquette with the ability to engage high-net-worth and international clientele.
- Strong organisational aptitude with experience managing appointments, events or VIP programmes.
- Fluent English; additional languages (Malay, Mandarin) advantageous.
- Discreet professional demeanour and proven ability to handle confidential client information.
- Flexibility to work retail and event hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct experience in luxury hospitality, high-end retail, boutique client services or a comparable concierge role; demonstrable exposure to VIP client management preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or tertiary qualification in hospitality, luxury retail or related field is advantageous.
