Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Heritage Collections Assistant intern in Paris. Six-month full-time position supporting archives, exhibitions, and collection management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist archives and collections teams with heritage-related projects supporting the maison's brand storytelling
- Conduct iconographic and documentary research to respond to requests from Communications, Marketing, and Retail departments
- Coordinate exhibition communications, including PowerPoint development, captions, educational documentation, and staff training materials
- Manage collection photography workflows: image sizing, cataloguing, captioning, and Digital Asset Management system uploads
- Support daily archive operations and general administrative tasks for the Heritage and Exhibitions Department
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student
- Advanced written and oral French; fluent English required
- Excellent command of grammar and orthography
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign
- Strong attention to detail and creative sensibility
Skills
Experience
Student or recent graduate with demonstrated interest in luxury heritage, jewelry, or horology sectors; prior experience in archives, museum collections, or cultural documentation preferred but not required.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed undergraduate or graduate studies in heritage management, art history, museum studies, communications, or a related discipline.
