Richemont seeks an HSE Specialist in Milan, Italy to manage health, safety, and environmental compliance across luxury Maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Implement and manage comprehensive HSE activities and programs across all Richemont operations in the market, ensuring alignment with Group HSE Management Policies and Standards
- Plan and coordinate engaging HSE training programs to enhance staff awareness and competence, fostering a strong safety culture across all Maisons
- Oversee development, communication, and implementation of robust Safety and Environmental plans for all projects, including emergency preparedness
- Conduct and organize regular HSE inductions, audits, inspections, and compliance checks for Fire Safety and Health & Safety standards across boutiques and Richemont locations
- Collaborate with external RSPP to investigate all occupational injuries, illnesses, dangerous occurrences, and incidents; identify root causes and recommend preventive and corrective actions
- Provide expert advice and support for all HSE risk assessment activities; proactively identify operational risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Partner with external contractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Fire Safety standards
- Develop HSE capabilities of site-based staff and subcontractors to empower them in maintaining safe working environments
- Monitor Health and Safety performance metrics and prepare relevant reports for management review
- Analyze Health and Safety trends and performance data to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
- Actively participate in the Local HSE Management Committee in conjunction with the external RSPP
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote HSE awareness, collaboration, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an HSE Specialist, preferably within retail or a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Solid understanding and practical experience with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) standards
- ASPP (Addetto al Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione) certification highly desirable
- Native Italian speaker
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficiency in French is a significant advantage
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence, engage, and train diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
- Proactive, resilient, and positive attitude with strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build effective working relationships

Previous experience as an HSE Specialist, preferably within the retail sector or a similar fast-paced, multi-site environment with exposure to complex operational sites and boutique locations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
