Richemont is hiring a Head of Strategy & Business Development, APAC in Hong Kong — senior role leading regional strategy and M&A for the luxury group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the APAC strategic roadmap in alignment with global corporate objectives, translating group priorities into market‑level plans and KPIs.
  • Identify, evaluate and execute business development opportunities across the region, including partnerships, joint ventures, channel expansion and inorganic growth (M&A).
  • Lead market entry and go‑to‑market strategies for new initiatives, coordinating commercial, legal and operational stakeholders to enable rapid, compliant execution.
  • Deliver rigorous commercial analysis and financial modelling to support investment decisions, business cases and negotiations with external partners.
  • Partner with brand leadership, wholesale, retail and e‑commerce teams to optimise distribution strategies and channel economics across APAC.
  • Represent Richemont with external stakeholders — partners, investors and regulators — and present strategic recommendations to senior executives and the regional leadership team.
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing strategy and business development team, setting objectives, managing performance and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in corporate strategy, business development or M&A within luxury goods, premium consumer products, retail or related sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience leading complex cross‑border transactions, strategic partnerships or go‑to‑market launches in APAC.
  • Strong commercial acumen with advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
  • Executive presence and experience briefing senior leadership or board-level stakeholders; excellent negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience
