Role & Responsibilities

• Define and execute the regional IT operations strategy for Northeast Asia (NEA) in alignment with global IT governance and business priorities.
• Lead day-to-day operations of infrastructure, networks, end-user services and cloud platforms to ensure high availability and performance across the region.
• Own incident, problem and change management processes (ITIL-aligned), ensuring rapid resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Manage regional IT service delivery, including Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence, capacity planning and disaster recovery readiness.
• Direct vendor and partner relationships, negotiating contracts, supervising third-party delivery and ensuring cost-effective service models.
• Collaborate with security, compliance and privacy teams to implement regional controls and ensure regulatory and corporate policy adherence.
• Prepare and manage regional IT operations budgets; prioritise investments and drive operational efficiency.
• Mentor and develop a distributed team of IT managers, engineers and service desk personnel; build local capability and cross-maison collaboration.
• Act as senior escalation point for critical outages and major projects, representing NEA operations to global IT leadership and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in regional IT operations with responsibility for infrastructure, service delivery and vendor management.
• Strong track record of operating within multinational organisations — ideally in luxury, retail or consumer goods sectors.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and demonstrated success implementing incident/change/problem management at scale.
• Experience managing cloud and on-premises environments and hybrid architectures.
• Budget ownership experience and the ability to translate technical priorities into business outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication skills; ability to influence senior business and IT leaders.

Skills

Experience

Typically 10+ years in IT operations with at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles responsible for regional service delivery, infrastructure and vendor ecosystems; experience across Northeast Asian markets preferred.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline; a master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is advantageous.
