Richemont seeks an experienced Head of Group Insurance in Bellevue to lead strategic risk management and insurance programs for this global luxury conglomerate.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the Group's non-life insurance and risk strategy in alignment with business priorities and evolving risk profiles
  • Act as internal entrepreneur, positioning insurance as a critical component of risk financing and strategic decision-making
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across the organization, providing commercially pragmatic insurance advice to support strategic initiatives and operational resilience
  • Design, place, and govern the Group's non-life insurance programs, including captive strategy, insurer and broker relationships, and claims oversight
  • Lead innovation initiatives, embracing automation, AI, and new technologies to continuously improve insurance processes and enhance effectiveness
  • Provide strategic insight to the Group Treasurer and Treasury Leadership Team on emerging risks, market developments, and opportunities to strengthen financial resilience
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing global insurance team, fostering a culture of partnership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Optimize the Group's total cost of risk through data-driven process improvements and leverage of technology

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Law
  • Minimum 15 years of corporate insurance experience, with progression through in-house roles of increasing responsibility
  • Expert knowledge of global insurance markets, international insurance programs, and captive experience
  • Deep experience advising internal organizations on insurance matters
  • Ability to think strategically like a businessperson and integrate insurance with operational and business issues
  • Fluent English
  • Broker or consultancy experience highly valued
  • Captive board position a plus
