GL Accountant at Richemont, Villars sur Glane, Switzerland — manage general ledger operations for luxury group Swiss entities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor, reconcile, and match all general ledger accounts
- Track and reconcile intercompany and intracompany accounts
- Prepare and record closing entries
- Prepare and explain monthly reporting
- Conduct and present analytical reviews of monthly accounts
- Document internal control system (ICS) controls
- Promote and implement group accounting policies and procedures
- Manage general ledger accounting
- Ensure compliance with group accounting procedures and internal control systems
- Serve as primary accounting contact for partner entities, Maisons, and internal functions
Qualifications
- Commercial employee diploma with professional maturity or equivalent, completed by accounting certification or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, Swiss Code of Obligations)
- Excellent proficiency with MS-Office and standard business tools
- First experience with SAP desirable
- Native French speaker with strong English proficiency (B2 level); German is an asset

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in general ledger accounting or a similar accounting role, preferably in an international corporate environment. Demonstrated expertise in reconciliation processes, month-end closing activities, and compliance with accounting frameworks.
Education
Commercial employee diploma with professional maturity (Kaufmännische Lehre mit Berufsmaturität) or equivalent, supplemented by accounting certification or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
