Richemont is recruiting a General Accountant & Internal Control (fixed-term contract) in Meyrin, Switzerland, to support finance and compliance operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple cost centres
- Prepare monthly financial reconciliations and variance analyses
- Contribute to the design, documentation, and assessment of internal control procedures
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with audit activities and provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors
- Identify and escalate control deficiencies and process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and French
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with internal control frameworks and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in financial work
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a general accounting or financial control role, ideally within a multinational or regulated environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
