Richemont (Cartier) is hiring an FP&A Manager in Tokyo — lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for Cartier Japan.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and monthly/quarterly reporting cycles for Cartier Japan, delivering timely P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analyses to support commercial decision-making, pricing, inventory and promotional planning.
  • Prepare management reporting and board-ready presentations, translating financial results into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Partner closely with commercial, retail and supply chain stakeholders to drive margin improvement, cost control and KPI performance.
  • Coordinate consolidation and alignment with Richemont group finance, ensuring consistency with group reporting standards and business initiatives.
  • Identify process improvements and implement FP&A tools and automation to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis for capital projects, business cases and strategic initiatives; support month-end close activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related discipline; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, ideally within luxury goods, retail or consumer-facing industries.
  • Proven track record of managing budgeting and forecasting cycles and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Fluent business-level ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information; Japanese language capability is advantageous for this Tokyo-based role.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or MBA is preferred.
