Richemont is hiring an FP&A Controlling Manager in Seoul to lead regional financial planning, controlling and business partnering.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual controlling processes including management reporting, variance analysis and commentary for regional operations.
- Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts and long‑range financial planning in partnership with commercial and operations leaders.
- Act as finance business partner to regional P&L owners, translating commercial performance into actionable financial insight and KPIs.
- Oversee cost control, margin analysis and profitability initiatives; identify opportunities for margin improvement and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards and local regulatory requirements; support consolidation and reporting to group finance.
- Design and enhance financial models, reporting packs and dashboards to improve decision support and transparency.
- Coordinate external and internal audit requests for controlling and financial reporting areas.
- Manage, mentor and develop a small FP&A/controlling team; allocate resources and set performance objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; master’s degree or professional designation (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA) preferred.
- Proven track record in FP&A, controllership or management accounting within consumer goods, retail or luxury sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and financial controls.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate analysis into commercial recommendations.
- Experience leading a small team and driving cross‑functional initiatives across finance and business functions.
Skills
Experience
Typically 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, controlling or management accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team‑lead role; prior exposure to luxury, retail or consumer goods finance is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline; master's degree or professional accounting qualification preferred.
