Watchfinder & Co. seeks a Financial Control Analyst in West Malling, UK to develop accounting policies and manage financial controls for the premier pre-owned luxury watch retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement precise accounting policies, programs, and systems to manage organizational financial assets effectively
- Ensure provision of accurate and comprehensive financial information and records across all operational areas
- Contribute to preparation of detailed data and analytics reports for senior management review
- Provide expert advice on financial policy interpretation and application to team members
- Collate and analyze financial data using predefined tools and established methodologies
- Identify and report instances of noncompliance within the team, escalating appropriately to senior staff
- Contribute to development and implementation of financial policies and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to best practices
- Interpret analytical data to identify potential solutions to financial control challenges
- Participate in assessment and development planning activities to maintain professional competency

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- Significant experience as an independent accounting practitioner
- Demonstrable experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Proficiency with financial systems and predefined analytical tools
- Basic supervisory or coordination experience with other accounting professionals
