Richemont seeks a skilled Foundry Artisan for Les Ateliers de Lyon in Lyon, France to craft precision precious metal components.
Role & Responsibilities
- Operate casting equipment and furnaces to produce precious metal components
- Perform hand-finishing and refinement of cast pieces to luxury standards
- Maintain precise temperature and material quality controls throughout the casting process
- Document production batches and ensure adherence to technical specifications
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to meet component tolerances
- Practice safe handling of molten metals and hazardous materials
Qualifications
- Formal training or apprenticeship in foundry work or precious metals casting
- Demonstrated proficiency in traditional and contemporary casting techniques
- Knowledge of precious metal properties and behavior under heat
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
