Richemont seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Tokyo to lead strategic financial planning and analysis across luxury brands.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial planning models and forecasting frameworks across assigned business units
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic financial plans
  • Analyze variances between actual and forecasted financial performance, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
  • Collaborate with operational and commercial leaders to translate strategic initiatives into financial impact and resource requirements
  • Present financial analysis and insights to senior management and board-level stakeholders
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and consolidation of financial data
  • Manage team performance and professional development for direct reports in the FP&A function

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced financial qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance roles
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
  • Strong proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills with capability to build complex models and dashboards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. MBA, CFA, or ACCA certification is advantageous.
