Richemont seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Tokyo to lead strategic financial planning and analysis across luxury brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial planning models and forecasting frameworks across assigned business units
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range strategic financial plans
- Analyze variances between actual and forecasted financial performance, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborate with operational and commercial leaders to translate strategic initiatives into financial impact and resource requirements
- Present financial analysis and insights to senior management and board-level stakeholders
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciliations and consolidation of financial data
- Manage team performance and professional development for direct reports in the FP&A function
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced financial qualification preferred
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance roles
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
- Strong proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with capability to build complex models and dashboards
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English; proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage

Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in financial planning, analysis, corporate finance, or management accounting, preferably in multinational corporations or within the luxury goods, retail, or consumer-facing industries. Prior experience managing teams and leading cross-functional financial initiatives is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. MBA, CFA, or ACCA certification is advantageous.
