Richemont is hiring a Finance Operations Controller in Dubai to oversee regional finance operations, month‑end close and management reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee day-to-day finance operations for the assigned region/entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactional processing.
- Drive month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and consolidated reporting to group standards.
- Prepare and present management reporting, variance analysis and KPIs to regional leadership and headquarters stakeholders.
- Own intercompany accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and resolution of accounting discrepancies across multiple entities.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and corporate reporting requirements and support external and internal audits.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and process governance to mitigate financial risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (retail, supply chain, tax, treasury) to support cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Identify and lead finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives, including ERP optimisations and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and regional statutory accounting requirements applicable to the UAE and the Middle East.
- Proven ability to manage month‑end close, reconciliations and consolidated reporting for multi‑entity operations.
- Demonstrated experience establishing and enforcing internal controls and supporting external audits.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills and the capacity to work with cross‑border teams.

Experience
Typically 6+ years of progressive finance experience with at least 3 years in a controlling or finance operations role; experience within retail, luxury goods or multi‑entity international organisations and exposure to audit processes is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
