Richemont — Finance Intern in Amsterdam. Internship supporting month‑end close, reporting and financial analysis for students in finance or accounting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and consolidate financial schedules and management reporting packs for local and group finance stakeholders.
- Perform variance analysis versus budget and forecast and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and modelling.
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance.
- Support audits and internal control testing, ensuring documentation and compliance with group policies and IFRS where applicable.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles and prepare materials for finance reviews and presentations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (sales, retail operations, supply chain) to gather transactional data and resolve discrepancies.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and month‑to‑month automation tasks to increase reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related discipline.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles; coursework or exposure to IFRS preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to build models and perform data manipulation.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines.
- Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural, matrixed organisation.

Experience
Previous internship or part‑time experience (0–12 months) in accounting, financial reporting, corporate finance or an equivalent student placement is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant coursework and academic projects are acceptable.
Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
