Role & Responsibilities

  • Advise the COO on sound financial decisions in accordance with Group and IAS-accepted practices
  • Serve as an effective business partner to the Brands and other local Richemont departments
  • Participate as Executive Committee member in developing and implementing company goals, policies, and procedures
  • Provide proactive financial advice and leadership to improve performance and achieve organizational targets
  • Oversee all financial operations including Reporting & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations, Compliance, and Internal Controls departments
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) compliant with IFRS and TMS standards
  • Lead annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts with department heads and Brand Directors
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and regular updates
  • Develop long-term financial forecasts and scenarios to support strategic planning
  • Conduct financial valuation of investment business cases and provide guidance on Funds & Capex
  • Oversee development and implementation of Brand retail operations manual governing procedures, stock management, anti-money laundering, and loss prevention
  • Conduct periodical, surprise, and annual audits and stock counts across retail locations
  • Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and Group policies and procedures
  • Report on statutory and managerial financials with accuracy in compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Represent the operating entity with the local Board of Directors in official forums
  • Lead the entity's risk management framework with vigilance and prompt communication of potential impacts to Regional Finance
  • Oversee and provide assurance on process and controls in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Manage risks mapping and develop controls framework for new risks, processes, systems, and business activities
  • Serve as key contact with external and internal auditors for business cycle reviews
  • Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • Assist in formulation of local strategic and tactical business plans

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or similar field from a reputable university
  • Accredited certification in related fields such as CPA or ACCA
  • Big 4 audit experience
  • 10+ years' experience in Finance with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position managing a large and diverse team
  • Multinational corporation (MNC) experience, preferably in Retail or FMCG
  • SAP experience
  • Retail market experience
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic and commercial finance

Experience
