Richemont Finance Controller role in Seoul with Van Cleef & Arpels, combining financial analysis, business partnering, and strategic reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to Van Cleef & Arpels leadership, offering financial guidance and challenging assumptions to optimize business performance
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis including variance analysis, profitability analysis, cash flow optimization, and trend analysis to provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and operational teams to enhance Finance proximity, identify business opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Support strategic projects and initiatives with robust financial analysis and recommendations
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports including monthly performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, and ad-hoc analyses
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into performance trends, highlighting areas for improvement
- Ensure compliance with Richemont Group financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Transform large amounts of data into meaningful financial insights and strategic recommendations using analytical tools
- Utilize various data sources and analytical tools to enhance reporting and forecasting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, FP&A, or similar analytical role
- Preferably in a matrix environment within a multinational company in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and mechanisms (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and financial statement modelling
- Demonstrated ability to deal with large amounts of data and strong analytical capabilities
Skills
Experience
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis, or a similar analytical role, preferably in a matrix environment within a multinational luxury retail organization. International exposure through previous roles demonstrating an understanding of global business contexts is valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
