A. Lange & Söhne: Finance, Governance, Risk & Compliance internship in Glashütte, Germany starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct independent process and control audits within the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) system
- Support process documentation and analysis activities
- Ensure financial operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines (HGB and IFRS)
- Contribute to the development of Non-Financial Reporting on sustainability, social matters, and supply chain
- Assist with certifications and audits, including Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) compliance
- Collaborate across departments to assess financial and non-financial risks
- Evaluate potential risk impacts on the organization and support mitigation strategy development
Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed degree in economics, finance, auditing, controlling, or sustainability management, preferably in advanced semesters
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Structured and systematic work methodology
- Collaborative team player with commitment and effective communication skills
- Understanding of ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent German and English (verbal and written)
Skills
Experience
Current or recent student in an economics-related discipline with demonstrated interest in compliance, governance, and regulatory frameworks; prior experience with financial controls, audit, or risk management preferred but not required.
Education
Pursuing or holding a degree in economics, finance, auditing, controlling, or sustainability management (preferably in advanced semesters).
Workplace
This position is based in Glashütte, Saxony, Germany, within easy reach of Dresden.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 2,238 per month.
