Richemont — Events Trainee in Milan. Support luxury events, vendor coordination, on-site execution and guest relations for a leading Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of brand and client events, including product launches, VIP receptions and boutique activations.
  • Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders, external vendors, production teams and venue partners to ensure seamless on-site operations.
  • Manage guest lists, RSVPs and seating arrangements; liaise with VIP services and boutique teams for personalised guest experiences.
  • Assist with event budgeting, purchase orders, invoicing and basic cost tracking to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Prepare event materials: presentations, run sheets, signage, name badges and press kits; maintain organised documentation and post-event archives.
  • Provide on-site support during events — oversee setup, troubleshoot operational issues and ensure high standards of hospitality.
  • Contribute to post-event reporting, attendee debriefs and measurement of event KPIs to inform future activations.
  • Collaborate with PR, marketing and visual merchandising teams to ensure brand consistency across event touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in events management, hospitality, marketing, communications or a related discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; professional manner when interacting with high-net-worth clients and external partners.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach during live activations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel locally for events.
  • Basic numeracy and familiarity with purchase order/invoice processes.
