Richemont Events Project Manager in Amsterdam: oversee luxury event strategy, coordination, and execution across multiple markets. Full-time role managing high-profile activations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with regional and global teams to develop and roll out local activation strategies that support brand and commercial objectives
  • Lead the ideation and conceptualization of creative event concepts, ensuring alignment with regional, global guidelines and market-specific requirements
  • Develop and maintain the local event calendar, coordinating execution across multiple countries and stakeholders
  • Manage end-to-end project planning and logistics for events, from initial concept through post-event activities and performance analysis
  • Source and manage local suppliers for all event components including production, catering, entertainment, and invitations; lead tender processes and negotiate contracts
  • Brief and coordinate boutiques for in-boutique events, ensuring seamless integration and flawless execution
  • Provide on-site leadership and support during event execution, from setup to teardown, ensuring a consistent luxury client experience
  • Oversee agency briefs and coordinate with content creation partners including photographers, videographers, and event agencies
  • Monitor and manage overall events budget across assigned markets, maintaining strict adherence to financial guidelines and processing purchase orders with local finance teams
  • Define and track event KPIs and performance metrics to measure effectiveness and ROI; prepare comprehensive post-event reports for executive and stakeholder presentations
  • Conduct agency performance assessments and provide recommendations for continuous improvement in future event planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in event management, project management, or client experience, preferably within luxury retail, fashion, or hospitality sectors
  • Proven track record designing and implementing high-profile events and complex multi-stakeholder projects
  • Demonstrated expertise coordinating VIP guest experiences and luxury hospitality programmes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of event management and CRM tools is a significant advantage
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in additional market languages (Dutch, French, Swedish, Danish) is a strong asset
