Richemont seeks an experienced Events and PR Senior Executive for Kuala Lumpur to lead strategic communications and luxury brand activations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communications strategies aligned with Richemont's luxury brand portfolio
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee high-impact events and brand activations across multiple venues and channels
- Manage media relations and cultivate partnerships with key journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders
- Oversee internal and external communications campaigns, including press releases, newsletters, and digital content
- Monitor brand reputation and implement crisis communication protocols as needed
- Collaborate with marketing, retail, and wholesale teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Budget management and ROI analysis for PR and events initiatives
- Lead a team of communications and events professionals
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in PR, communications, or events management, preferably within the luxury sector
- Demonstrated success in launching integrated PR campaigns and managing high-profile events
- Strong understanding of the luxury market, consumer behavior, and brand positioning
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in Malay and/or Mandarin Chinese highly advantageous
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and navigate media landscapes
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into communications initiatives
- Experience leading and mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment

Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or events management, with a strong track record of success in the luxury goods or hospitality sectors. Prior experience leading communications teams and managing integrated campaigns is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline. Advanced qualifications in communications or business administration are desirable.
