Cartier seeks an Events & PR Senior Executive in Kuala Lumpur to lead brand communications, event strategy, and media relations for the luxury Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of Maison events including product launches, high-end moments, client activations, and retail programming in compliance with Cartier guidelines and standards
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (boutiques, retail, clients, security, logistics, regional and international teams) and external partners (agencies, vendors, venues) to ensure seamless communication and delivery of all event components including run-of-show documents, guest lists, and post-event reports with clear KPIs
  • Manage on-site supervision and logistics for events before and during execution, overseeing roles, responsibilities, and administrative tasks including inventory management
  • Monitor and reconcile event budgets, including purchase order creation, invoice processing, and post-event financial reconciliation
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with PR agencies, media partners, and key opinion influencers to support Cartier's communication objectives
  • Plan and coordinate daily PR operations including media inquiries, PR stock coordination, photoshoots, press meetings, and fact-checking
  • Write, edit, and adapt press materials; assist in media pitches and prepare weekly briefing notes to ensure alignment on priorities and messaging
  • Monitor, consolidate, and analyze media coverage through press clipping reports and qualitative analysis to evaluate year-over-year performance and share monthly communications plans with stakeholders
  • Manage local and international press trips, editorial negotiations, and media interviews to create distinctive editorial opportunities aligned with market strategies and global guidelines
  • Identify emerging PR opportunities by systematically tracking industry and competitor news, proposing new PR strategies that optimize reach and impact across media channels

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing events and public relations in a luxury or high-end retail environment
  • Solid knowledge of Malaysia's media landscape and key opinion influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages a plus
  • Proven experience with budget management, vendor coordination, and post-event analysis

Experience
