Cartier Paris, 12-month Financial Planning Lead role coordinating European retail budgeting and data governance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consolidate and reconcile financial data from European markets for regional reporting and regular balance statements
- Support regional and market teams in project estimation, budget optimization, and risk anticipation while integrating sustainability strategy
- Maintain and update financial data on internal platforms and international shared systems
- Develop, update, and leverage cost benchmarks, market intelligence, and best practices to optimize budgeting and scheduling
- Consolidate and manage cash flow forecasts, including preparation of quarterly and annual projections
- Define and support markets in developing and monitoring maintenance budgets aligned with international construction strategy and long-term commercial objectives
- Consolidate European market data ensuring quality and accuracy for regional reporting
- Provide clear and concise data reports to senior management
- Collaborate with international and regional teams to develop data-driven analyses aligned with business needs
- Consolidate and communicate retail and wholesale project timelines and updates
- Coordinate and support Store Design & Planning teams across European markets to ensure seamless transmission and optimal application of international directives
- Develop and implement regional sustainability and maintenance initiatives in alignment with international strategy
- Consolidate and optimize the regional supplier network to ensure quality services, competitive quotations, and long-term partnerships
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Bac+5) from a business school with specialization in management and/or economics
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in financial control, planning, and data management
- Strong knowledge of luxury retail operations
- Fluent in French and English
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Business Intelligence tools, and ideally SAP
- Strong initiative and flexibility in multicultural environments
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
- Strong collaborative abilities and interpersonal skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in financial control, planning, and data management, preferably within luxury retail or international retail operations. Proven expertise in budgetary consolidation, market analysis, and regional financial coordination.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) from an accredited business school with coursework in management and/or economics.
