Richemont seeks a Europe FP&A Controller in Meyrin — senior FP&A role responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial controls.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own and lead financial planning & analysis for the European region, including annual budget, rolling forecast and long-range planning.
- Prepare monthly management reporting, consolidation of European results and clear variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Act as the primary finance business partner for commercial and operational leaders across Europe, translating business plans into financial metrics and actionable insights.
- Drive month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate reporting and reconciliations for European entities.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with group reporting standards and applicable accounting principles.
- Develop and maintain financial models, KPI dashboards and scenario analyses to support decision-making and capital allocation.
- Lead process-improvement initiatives within FP&A, including system optimisation, automation and best-practice adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent) preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of corporate financial reporting and accounting standards applicable to a multinational luxury group (IFRS experience preferred).
- Strong analytical ability with advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.
- Proven capacity to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix, multi-brand environment.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail and experience implementing financial controls.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of approximately 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, management reporting or controllership within a multinational environment; experience covering multiple European legal entities and leading cross-functional finance projects is expected. Prior experience in luxury goods, retail or consumer goods is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification preferred.
