Role & Responsibilities
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, lubrication and reassembly of mechanical and quartz movements under the direction of senior watchmakers.
- Execute basic timing, regulation and adjustment using timegrapher equipment to meet atelier accuracy specifications.
- Conduct case and bracelet servicing including gasket replacement, pressure testing and simple polishing tasks.
- Follow technical schematics and manufacturer repair procedures to ensure authentic, warranty-compliant repairs.
- Complete quality control checks and document service operations in the workshop management system.
- Maintain tools, workbench cleanliness and calibrated instruments; comply with safety and hygiene protocols.
- Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and restoration projects; escalate issues when specialist input is required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by reporting recurring faults and suggesting preventive measures.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in watchmaking or horology (e.g., recognized technical watchmaking programme) or completion of a formal apprenticeship.
- Demonstrable manual dexterity and excellent fine-motor coordination.
- Basic understanding of mechanical movement architecture and lubrication principles.
