Richemont seeks an experienced Engraver in Morbio Inferiore to hand-engrave luxury watch and jewelry components with precision and artistry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute precision hand-engraving on watch cases, bezels, and fine jewelry components according to design specifications and quality standards
- Maintain artisanal techniques while meeting production timelines and batch requirements
- Inspect completed engravings for quality, accuracy, and aesthetic consistency
- Collaborate with watchmakers, artisans, and design teams to refine engraving patterns and finishing techniques
- Preserve and document traditional engraving methodologies and best practices
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in hand-engraving or related artisanal metalworking techniques
- Proficiency with traditional engraving tools and precision hand instruments
- Strong understanding of luxury watch and jewelry manufacturing standards
- Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances and execute complex decorative patterns
- Eye for detail and commitment to flawless craftsmanship
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in hand-engraving, watch manufacturing, fine jewelry production, or related artisanal crafts. Experience in a luxury goods manufacturing environment is preferred.
Education
Apprenticeship certification in engraving, watch-making, or goldsmithing, or equivalent practical training through recognized artisanal programs is preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Morbio Inferiore, Ticino, Switzerland, within easy reach of Lugano.
