Van Cleef & Arpels | EHS and Maintenance Specialist | Paris, France. Full-time role supporting high jewelry workshop operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance operations on the workshop site by coordinating internal and external intervention teams
- Develop and monitor maintenance plans for facilities and production equipment
- Establish and manage preventive maintenance schedules (annual laser, foundry, and furnace maintenance) and corrective maintenance protocols (parts replacement, troubleshooting)
- Implement and maintain maintenance management systems (GMAO), including scheduling and predictive needs analysis
- Set up and improve workstations; perform repairs and enhancements as needed
- Establish prevention plans with external service providers
- Conduct staff training on maintenance best practices, PPE compliance, and safety procedures
- Support preparation, coordination, and execution of internal and external EHS audits
- Implement corrective action and remedial measures following audits
- Maintain and update the EHS management system for the workshop
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the workshop on hygiene and employee safety matters
- Manage administrative responsibilities including EHS investment budgeting, activity control reporting (monthly and ad-hoc studies), and workshop operational documentation
Qualifications
- Electrical safety certification (habilitation électrique)
- Technical proficiency in maintenance and EHS systems
- Proficiency with Excel and general IT tools
- Strong organizational and priority management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Skills
Experience
Technical experience in maintenance and EHS management within a manufacturing or artisanal production environment is preferred.
Education
Technical education or vocational qualification in maintenance, engineering, or health and safety is desirable.
