Richemont is hiring a Duty Optimization Supervisor in Grand Prairie, USA — lead customs and duty optimisation for the global luxury group.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to minimize customs, duties and tariff exposure across import/export flows while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Oversee tariff classification (HS codes), valuation and origin determinations, and manage reviews of preferential trade agreement eligibility.
- Supervise a team responsible for customs declarations, bonded inventory regimes and duty-deferral programs; provide coaching and performance management.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders and internal supply chain, finance and legal teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Maintain and refine duty optimization processes and controls, implement corrective actions from audits, and prepare reporting for senior management.
- Analyse duty expenditure and related KPIs, produce cost‑saving proposals, and lead projects (e.g., bonded warehouse, inward processing, drawback) to realize savings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance or equivalent; advanced degree or professional customs certification preferred.
- Formal training or certification in customs/border management (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist, Customs Broker licence) is an advantage.
- Proven supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead a small operational team and manage external service providers.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience translating regulatory opportunities into measurable duty savings.

Experience
Typically 5+ years in customs, international trade, or duty/tariff optimisation within a multinational environment, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or a closely related field; professional customs/trade certification preferred.
