Richemont seeks a Director of Retail Operating Systems and Applications in New York to lead global retail technology strategy and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of retail operating systems and applications across Richemont's global luxury retail network
- Develop comprehensive technology strategies that align retail operations with business objectives and support omnichannel commerce initiatives
- Oversee cross-functional teams responsible for systems architecture, infrastructure management, and application development
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that modernize legacy systems and enhance retail point-of-sale and inventory management capabilities
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for system reliability, uptime, and user adoption
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements across all retail technology platforms
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in retail technology, IT operations, or systems management
- Proven track record leading large-scale technology initiatives in a multi-location, multi-brand environment
- Deep expertise in retail operating systems, point-of-sale platforms, and inventory management applications
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud infrastructure, and IT security best practices
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships in a complex organizational structure
- Executive presence and demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
Experience
15+ years in retail technology, IT operations, or enterprise systems management, with at least 5 years in a director-level or equivalent leadership role. Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification preferred.
