Richemont seeks a Director of Security in London to lead UK-wide security operations and asset protection for the luxury retail company.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive security strategies aligned with Richemont's global standards and UK regulatory requirements
- Oversee all security operations including physical security, surveillance systems, access control, and threat assessment across UK locations
- Lead, manage, and train security personnel to ensure consistent adherence to protocols and best practices
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures
- Collaborate with retail operations, supply chain, and corporate functions to integrate security into business processes
- Manage security budgets and vendor relationships for technology, personnel, and services
- Ensure compliance with UK legislation including the Security Industry Authority (SIA) regulations and data protection laws
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in security management within luxury retail or comparable high-value environments
- Proven track record leading large security teams and complex operations
- Knowledge of UK security regulations, SIA licensing, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with advanced security technologies including CCTV, access control, and integrated security systems
- Strong crisis management and incident response capabilities
Skills
Experience
15+ years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 5 years at a director-level or equivalent senior leadership position in luxury retail, hospitality, or premium asset protection.
Education
Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional security certification (IOSH, SIA Level 3 or higher, or equivalent).
