Richemont seeks Digital Technology Director in Seoul to lead digital strategy, IT operations and innovation across luxury houses.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of digital and technology strategy, framework, roadmap and operations aligned to company strategic pillars, working with global, regional teams, maison stakeholders and product teams
  • Collaborate closely with Global and Regional leadership on strategy formulation, guidelines, directions and market execution
  • Proactively communicate market trends, competitor intelligence, technology innovations, benefits and risks to business stakeholders with strategic recommendations
  • Ensure operational excellence across digital, customer relationship management (CRC), IT business applications, and IT operations to support business growth and day-to-day operations
  • Identify new opportunities and establish KPIs to drive revenue growth, margin improvement, profit growth, customer engagement and productivity through simplifications and innovations
  • Establish Agile processes, tools and metrics to support new growth opportunities and organizational transformation
  • Manage and establish strategic external partnerships with technology vendors, start-ups, consulting firms and research institutions for innovation
  • Influence stakeholders across the organization to foster a digital-savvy, curious and collaborative culture
  • Lead and develop the Digital Technology team, evolving mindset, skillsets and toolsets to create a harmonized, high-performing unit

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in digital technology, IT strategy or similar leadership roles
  • Minimum 10+ years of supervisory and people leadership experience
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in international, multi-geography retail business within FMCG, fashion, services, consulting or luxury industry
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related discipline
  • Exceptional business acumen developed through digital, retail or ecommerce business team experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in modern digital product management, engineering and operations practices
  • In-depth understanding of APAC consumer trends and technologies landscape, particularly Korea
  • Strong background in product management, Scrum, Agile and/or DevOps methodologies
  • Comprehensive knowledge of digital platforms across regional and global markets

Experience

Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in digital technology leadership or equivalent roles. Minimum 10+ years of supervisory and people management experience. Minimum 10+ years of international, multi-geography retail business experience within FMCG, fashion, services, consulting or the luxury sector. Demonstrated expertise in strategy management, innovation management, service management, vendor management, technology management, and team coaching.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required. Degree holder in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related disciplines preferred. Certifications or training in Project Management, Product Management and/or Agile Methodology are advantageous.
