Richemont seeks a Cloud Solutions Engineer with monitoring expertise for its DevOps team in Moscavide, Portugal. Lead enterprise monitoring initiatives and cloud infrastructure standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive monitoring platform-as-a-service capabilities (setup, troubleshooting, maintenance) to enterprise infrastructure and application teams
- Establish and maintain clear, well-defined monitoring standards across all service delivery teams
- Define system alerting protocols and alert routing mechanisms to ensure efficient and timely response to production-impacting issues
- Implement automation frameworks for monitoring deployment and audit processes to ensure prescribed monitoring compliance
- Enforce best practices around metrics collection, storage, and analysis to enable real-time issue detection and post-mortem analysis
- Develop and maintain advanced monitoring scenarios addressing complex monitoring gaps and optimizing corporate resource oversight
- Foster continuous refinement of monitoring practices through iterative feedback cycles between monitoring teams and service delivery partners
- Provide advisory services and technical expertise to project teams implementing monitoring solutions
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with demonstrated expertise in monitoring services
- Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and GitLab
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with configuration management tools including Ansible or equivalent platforms
- Intermediate understanding of IT and network infrastructure architecture
- Advanced experience with SaaS-based infrastructure monitoring applications (DataDog, Site24x7, or similar)
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise alerting tools such as PagerDuty or equivalent
- Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical thinking and reporting capabilities

Experience
3 to 5 years as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with solid international expertise in monitoring services, infrastructure automation, and cloud platform management. Hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise monitoring tools across cloud providers, networks, server and storage infrastructures. Demonstrated proficiency with infrastructure-as-code automation using modern DevOps toolchains and scripting languages.
Education
Not specified. Advanced technical certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevOps, or monitoring technologies would be advantageous.
