Richemont DevOps Engineer in Moscavide, Portugal: build scalable platforms with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation for luxury Maisons' digital experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support delivery teams by automating product/solution integration through Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
- Collaborate with the DevSecOps team to build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices alongside other DevOps engineers
- Partner with Test Automation Engineers to establish and improve dedicated testing pipelines
- Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of DevOps processes, tools, and techniques
- Work closely with development teams to ensure products are designed for security, scalability, performance, and operability in accordance with Group Technology standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain products/solutions while ensuring technical documentation remains current
- Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance and infrastructure health
- Recommend improvements to products and solutions based on ongoing evaluations
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Mentor development teams in DevOps best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong experience with decoupled and composable architecture patterns
- Proven expertise in building, automating, and deploying software to production
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and infrastructure automation
- Advanced proficiency in Linux bash operations and scripting (sed, awk, grep)
- Demonstrated expertise with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven track record with AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Competence in SSL/TLS certificate management
- Working knowledge of JFrog, ArgoCD, Helm, Kubernetes, and Istio
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams
- Proactive, self-driven approach with eagerness to learn emerging technologies
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment
Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer, with proven expertise in building, automating, and deploying software to production environments. The candidate should possess hands-on experience with microservices architecture and infrastructure automation. Experience with digital platforms is considered an asset.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
