Richemont seeks a Desktop Engineer in Tokyo to manage corporate endpoints, support users and operate endpoint management tools for its luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain corporate endpoints (Windows and macOS): imaging, configuration, patching and lifecycle replacement.
- Provide second/third‑line desktop support for employees across Tokyo and regional offices, resolving incidents and service requests via the ITSM ticketing system.
- Administer and optimise end‑point management platforms and MDM solutions (SCCM/Microsoft Intune and JAMF), including software deployment and policy enforcement.
- Maintain identity and access systems related to desktop services (Active Directory, Azure AD, single sign‑on integrations).
- Implement and operate endpoint security controls (antivirus/EDR, disk encryption, secure configuration standards) in partnership with the Information Security team.
- Contribute to desktop and collaboration projects: rollouts, migrations, VDI implementations and office relocations.
- Document procedures, maintain asset inventory and produce operational metrics and status reports for IT management.
- Provide occasional after‑hours or on‑call support for critical incidents and major deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise desktop/end‑user computing roles supporting Windows and macOS clients.
- Proven experience with Active Directory, Azure AD and modern device management (SCCM, Intune, JAMF).
- Solid understanding of endpoint security technologies (EDR, disk encryption) and patch management.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Japanese language ability is advantageous for Tokyo‑based user support.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience supporting enterprise endpoints in a multinational organisation, including platform administration (SCCM/Intune/JAMF), incident resolution and project delivery for desktop and collaboration services.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent; relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Apple, CompTIA) preferred.
