Richemont seeks a Deputy Residence Manager in Tokyo to lead luxury boutique operations, manage VIP clients, and direct exclusive events.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Residence Manager in all operational aspects, including deputizing during absences to ensure continuity of service excellence
- Lead and develop a small team through targeted training, performance feedback, and operational guidance to elevate overall service standards
- Manage salon reservations and orchestrate bespoke client experiences by understanding individual preferences, lifestyle, and significant occasions, whilst coordinating special requests such as catering and private services
- Direct the conceptualization, planning, and execution of exclusive private events within the residence that showcase high-end products and embody Maison heritage
- Maintain and enhance the sophisticated aesthetic of the residence floor through thoughtful seasonal and thematic spatial design that aligns with hospitality objectives
- Analyze customer satisfaction metrics and feedback (e.g., Customer Barometer) and collaborate with the Residence Manager to implement PDCA-based service improvement initiatives
- Liaise strategically with hospitality partners (hotel food and beverage teams, catering providers) to ensure seamless event execution and flawless guest experience delivery
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, feedback, and special requests to continuously strengthen customer engagement and loyalty
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or concierge services catering to high-net-worth clientele
- Demonstrated team leadership or floor/store management experience
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and service excellence standards
- Fluent English communication skills, capable of engaging discerning clients and negotiating with hospitality partners
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced, high-touch environment

Experience
Candidates should have professional experience in at least one of the following areas: client-facing service roles within luxury retail or hospitality; concierge or dedicated client services in high-end environments; hotel or airline hospitality operations; team leadership or floor management responsibilities. Experience in hotel food and beverage management with deep knowledge of wine or service protocols is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further qualifications in hospitality management, luxury service, or related disciplines are valued.
