Richemont is recruiting a Deputy Boutique Manager in Melbourne to support boutique operations, lead sales and coach staff for a luxury maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Boutique Manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators, driving day-to-day commercial activity.
  • Coach, motivate and develop boutique staff to deliver exemplary client experiences and maintain high service standards.
  • Oversee boutique operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale administration and staff rostering.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receipting and coordination of transfers with central distribution or other boutiques.
  • Ensure boutique presentation complies with visual merchandising guidelines and brand directives.
  • Handle escalated client enquiries and after-sales service matters, fostering long-term client relationships and clienteling efforts.
  • Implement loss-prevention measures and ensure adherence to company compliance and security procedures.
  • Collaborate with regional management, retail operations and CRM teams to roll out local initiatives and drive client acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capability with prior supervisory or assistant-manager experience in luxury retail.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a premium or ultra-luxury environment.
  • Strong understanding of clienteling principles and high-touch customer service.
  • Ability to manage operational processes including cash handling, stock control and POS systems.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and the capacity to mentor a multicultural boutique team.
