Richemont seeks a Demand & Supply Management Watch Planner in Tokyo to lead demand forecasting, inventory allocation and supply coordination for its watch maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop SKU-level demand forecasts and translate sales plans into operational replenishment and production requirements for watch collections.
- Own inventory optimisation, allocation and replenishment across retail, wholesale and after‑sales channels to maximise sell-through and minimise stock obsolescence.
- Collaborate with commercial, retail, production and supply-chain teams to align merchandising, launches and collection cadence with manufacturing capacity and lead-times.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles and provide scenario analysis to support assortment, pricing and promotion decisions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (sell-through, weeks of supply, stock cover, forecast accuracy) and deliver regular reporting to regional and global stakeholders.
- Manage order intake, delivery schedules and exception cases to ensure timely availability for priority customers and flagship points of sale.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, demand signals and data quality; liaise with IT/ERP teams on system enhancements and integrations.
- Support product launches and allocation strategies for limited editions and high-value timepieces, ensuring governance and traceability of inventory movements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, economics or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable commercial acumen with specific knowledge or strong interest in the luxury watch sector.
- Proven analytical ability and attention to numerical detail; comfortable working with large datasets to inform decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (commercial, retail, production).
- Fluency in data-driven planning methodologies and best practices in inventory management and allocation.

Typically 3–5 years of progressive experience in demand planning, merchandise planning or supply planning within watches, luxury goods, fashion or premium retail; experience of both retail and wholesale channel dynamics is highly advantageous.
Education
