Richemont Data Protection Analyst position in Moscavide, Portugal. Lead DLP compliance and data governance initiatives across global luxury group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the central GRC point of contact for DLP, ensuring coordination across Identity and Access Management (IAM), Digital Workplace, Connectivity, and Endpoint teams
- Drive end-to-end orchestration of DLP initiatives, ensuring alignment across Technology, Security, Legal, HR, and Data Office functions
- Own the DLP demand intake and requirements definition, translating business needs, regulatory constraints, and operational workflows into practical controls
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of data classification and protection frameworks, aligned with Group risk appetite and industry best practices
- Ensure consistency of data classification, labelling, and protection requirements across systems and regions
- Coordinate with Technology teams to ensure effective implementation of DLP controls without owning technical deployment
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track DLP control coverage, effectiveness, and risk exposure
- Promote pragmatic, business-aligned controls that balance data protection with usability and operational requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information System Management, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT Risk, Compliance, Information Security, or Data Protection
- Demonstrated understanding of data protection risks, data classification frameworks, and DLP concepts
- Proven ability to translate business needs and regulatory requirements into structured, actionable controls
- Strong track record of coordinating across multiple stakeholders in complex, international environments
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive data and compliance matters
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred
Skills
Experience
5+ years in IT Risk, Compliance, Information Security, or Data Protection roles, preferably within a multinational, complex organizational environment with emphasis on data governance and protection program implementation.
Education
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information System Management, or a related field.
