Richemont Regional Analytics Engineering Intern in Hong Kong: support data infrastructure, BigQuery, Looker dashboards, and GCP platform migration for luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in writing, optimizing, and testing SQL queries and dbt models to clean and transform raw regional data in BigQuery
- Support maintenance and development of Looker (LookML) dashboards, ensuring high performance and customization for boutique networks
- Build and implement automated data quality tests to monitor data anomalies, validate pipeline performance, and maintain 100% analytical data accuracy
- Actively participate in documenting and migrating legacy reporting systems to the unified, cloud-based GCP platform
- Standardize regional KPI definitions, collaborate with key stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive data documentation to strengthen the regional data community
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, or a highly quantitative field (Mathematics, Econometrics, etc.)
- Proficiency in SQL (practical testing will be part of the recruitment process)
- Basic understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts (BigQuery, Star Schema), version control (GitOps and CI/CD)
- Fluency in English
- Eligibility and availability for a full-time six-month internship in Hong Kong

No prior professional experience required; current university enrollment in a relevant quantitative discipline is essential.
