Richemont seeks Cyber Security Assistant Manager in Seoul, South Korea. Support cyber risk management, ensure PIPA compliance, and manage security assessments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary interface between Group Security organization and local business operations, serving as proxy for security initiatives
  • Coordinate and conduct cyber risk, compliance, and security assessments with external auditors and internal stakeholders
  • Execute regular compliance assessments required under Korean data protection legislation including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and ISMS
  • Monitor regulatory changes and perform impact analysis of compliance requirements specific to Korea
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with Business Unit, Legal, Security, Risk & Compliance, and Technology teams across the region and globally
  • Ensure cross-functional communication within cyber security teams and to business stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with group security policies, processes, and global standards
  • Deliver cyber security awareness training and education programs to staff

Qualifications

  • University degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Audit, Risk & Compliance, or Cyber Security
  • Demonstrated expertise in information security principles and practices
  • Strong knowledge of Korean legal context and data protection regulations (PIPA, ISMS, and related legislation)
  • Proven hands-on experience in policy development and governance
  • Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience conducting cyber security audits and compliance assessments
  • Expertise in cyber security risk management and business-level communication
  • Technology knowledge and practical experience with risk management frameworks
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluent in Korean and English

Experience interfacing with executive leadership and translating complex security concepts for non-technical audiences required.

Education

University degree with a major in economics, mathematics, computer science, physics, or a related discipline. Advanced certifications in information security (such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) are advantageous.
