Richemont seeks a Credit Controller in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland to manage accounts receivable, credit risk and collections for its luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash application and reconciliations.
- Monitor customer credit exposure and maintain credit limits, performing periodic credit reviews and risk assessments.
- Drive collections activities to minimise ageing and late payments through proactive contact, negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Produce and analyse AR ageing reports, cash forecasts and KPIs; present findings to finance management.
- Maintain accurate customer master data and ensure timely resolution of billing and settlement discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring AR balances are correctly reported and documented.
- Collaborate with sales, customer service and legal teams on disputed invoices, credit holds and disputed claims.
- Contribute to process improvements and ERP system optimisations to increase efficiency and controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, credit management and cash collection best practices.
- Proven ability to interpret financial data, produce management reporting and apply credit risk controls.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; capable of managing commercial relationships with international customers.
- High level of accuracy, organisation and an aptitude for process improvement in a matrix environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, credit control or treasury within a multinational company or luxury retail environment, with demonstrable experience using ERP systems (preferably SAP).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent. Professional accounting qualification preferred but not mandatory.
