Role & Responsibilities
- Perform precise assembly and finishing of horological components to exacting luxury standards
- Execute complex watchmaking operations including caliber assembly, adjustment, and regulation
- Maintain meticulous quality control throughout all assembly phases
- Collaborate with senior artisans and master craftspeople to ensure heritage techniques are upheld
- Document assembly procedures and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications
Qualifications
- Formal training through Compagnons du Devoir program or equivalent horological apprenticeship
- Demonstrated expertise in fine watchmaking assembly and regulation
- Proven ability to work with precision instruments and specialized watchmaking tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical timekeeping principles and chronometer standards
- Portfolio or record of completed horological projects demonstrating technical excellence
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of dedicated experience in fine watchmaking assembly, preferably within a luxury manufacture or through structured artisanal training such as the Compagnons du Devoir program.
Education
Vocational training in watchmaking or horology; completion of Compagnons du Devoir or equivalent master craftsman apprenticeship is strongly preferred.
