Richemont Cost Control Analyst
Richemont seeks a Cost Control Analyst in New York to manage inventory valuation, variance analysis and cost reporting for luxury maisons.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage month-end cost accounting close activities including inventory valuation, COGS allocations and reconciliations of cost-related ledgers.
- Perform detailed variance analysis versus budgets and forecasts, identifying drivers and proposing corrective actions.
- Maintain and enhance cost-control processes, standard costing methods and inventory accounting policies to ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP/IFRS as applicable.
- Prepare and deliver timely management reports and KPI dashboards to finance, operations and commercial stakeholders.
- Support costing for new product introductions, pricing exercises and margin analysis in collaboration with product, sourcing and sales teams.
- Lead cost investigations, support internal and external audits, and implement remediation actions to strengthen governance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system implementations to automate cost flows and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; advanced degree or professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in cost accounting, financial analysis or FP&A; experience in luxury goods, retail, manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation methods and month-end close procedures.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data and communicate findings succinctly to cross-functional stakeholders.
- High ethical standards and strong adherence to internal control frameworks.

Experience
Typically requires three or more years of progressive experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably within luxury goods, retail or manufacturing environments, with hands-on involvement in month-end close, inventory accounting and cross-functional commercial support.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) or a master’s degree is desirable.
