Van Cleef & Arpels seeks a Continuous Improvement Intern in Paris to optimize production flows and support Atelier operations through Lean methodology and SAP integration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the transition and optimization of activity tracking tools toward SAP, ensuring data continuity and reliability for improved decision-making
- Design and develop an interactive monitoring dashboard for stone cutting operations to enhance performance visibility and facilitate operational oversight
- Contribute to the deployment and optimization of visual management within the workshop to streamline piece tracking, reduce wait times, and improve production reactivity
- Analyze existing activity tracking tools (Power BI reports, portfolio monitoring, subcontracting oversight) and propose concrete improvements to optimize performance and production flow responsiveness
- Collaborate with the Workshop Manager and Planning Lead to develop and optimize a pricing grid for repetitive high jewelry subcontracting purchases
Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain Management
- Knowledge of Lean Management principles
- Proficiency with information systems and software tools
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
Experience
Academic or limited professional experience in supply chain, operations planning, or process improvement within a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous. Familiarity with jewelry production workflows is a plus.
Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
