Richemont seeks a Continuous Improvement Intern in Buttes, Switzerland to support Lean projects and process optimisation across production sites.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives across production and workshop environments.
  • Collect, cleanse and analyse production and quality data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Map current-state processes and contribute to value stream mapping and root-cause analysis.
  • Assist in the planning and facilitation of Kaizen events, 5S implementations and pilot process changes.
  • Prepare clear, data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders and track post-implementation KPIs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, supply chain, engineering) to enable implementation and sustainment of improvements.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, with experience using Excel for data manipulation and basic statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping) and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; able to summarise findings and present to operational teams.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
