Richemont is hiring a Compliance Manager in Paris to lead regulatory compliance, risk assessments and training for its luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain the enterprise compliance framework, policies and procedures to mitigate regulatory, financial and reputational risk.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and translate findings into pragmatic controls and remediation plans.
- Provide day‑to‑day legal and regulatory advice to business units on anti‑corruption, trade controls, sanctions, conflicts of interest, third‑party due diligence and other compliance topics.
- Develop and deliver targeted training, communications and awareness programmes for commercial, retail and support functions.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure prompt adaptation of policies and processes to evolving rules (domestic and international).
- Lead or support internal investigations and incident management; prepare executive briefings and periodic compliance reporting for senior management.
- Coordinate with internal audit, legal, HR and external advisers to ensure consistent application of compliance standards across boutiques, subsidiaries and distribution partners.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in law, business administration, compliance or equivalent professional qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to luxury retail and international trade (anti‑bribery, sanctions, export controls, data protection).
- Proven ability to author clear policies, perform risk assessments and manage cross‑functional compliance projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience advising senior stakeholders and delivering training.
- High ethical standards, discretion and experience handling confidential investigations.

Typically 5+ years of progressive compliance experience within regulated industries or multinational retail/consumer goods, with demonstrated exposure to cross‑border regulatory issues and stakeholder engagement at management level.
Education
Degree in law, business administration, finance or a related discipline; postgraduate or professional certification in compliance, governance or risk management is advantageous.
