Chloé Collection Merchandiser RTW position in Paris—6-month contract supporting strategic RTW planning and product development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in collection plan development based on category strategy, sales history, and competitive positioning
- Monitor retail performance by region and category, analyzing sell-in data, end-of-season clearance, and pricing trends to inform design and product decisions
- Collaborate with Product Development to maintain accurate product lifecycle management (PLM) and assess collection efficiency across seasonals and carry-overs
- Supervise collection development monitoring tools and support product follow-up in collaboration with the collection merchandising assistant
- Assist in the prebuy and pricing process, including preparation of buying session tools and brief development
- Conduct competitive analysis regarding collection structure and market evolution in partnership with Sales Merchandising
- Ensure product storytelling accuracy and information consistency through store training and commercial channels
- Coordinate 360-degree product initiatives including press samples, client presentations, staff training, e-commerce activation, and sustainability documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Collection Merchandising, Product Merchandising, or Buying within luxury fashion
- Strong understanding of ready-to-wear development and collection lifecycle management
- Analytical mindset combined with refined product sensitivity and aesthetic judgment
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, international, matrix-driven environments
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising software platforms; PLM system knowledge is advantageous

5 years in Collection Merchandising, Product Merchandising, or Buying roles within the luxury fashion sector, with demonstrated expertise in ready-to-wear development cycles and cross-functional product management.
