Vacheron Constantin seeks a Client Advisor for its Ginza flagship boutique in Tokyo, Japan to deliver premium watch consultations and build lasting client relationships.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, attentive service to all clients, creating memorable boutique experiences through personalized attention and consultative engagement
  • Employ storytelling techniques to communicate product features, maison heritage, and core values, articulating the craftsmanship and design appeal of timepieces
  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships through proactive follow-up, coordination with boutique management and sales teams, and documented account management
  • Utilize CRM systems to accurately record, update, and manage client information, enabling consistent and timely relationship cultivation
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through consultative selling, needs assessment, and appropriate product recommendations aligned with client preferences
  • Execute after-sales activities including follow-up outreach and re-engagement initiatives to maximize repeat client visits and lifetime value
  • Embody the maison's brand values, world perspective, and craftsmanship philosophy in all client and team interactions, serving as a brand custodian
  • Maintain competitive awareness by staying informed of industry developments, market trends, and competitive positioning
  • Adhere to group, maison, and boutique operational procedures, security protocols, and compliance standards
  • Execute daily boutique operations including opening and closing procedures, maintenance documentation, visual merchandising, and product display management
  • Participate in periodic projects including inventory management, stock audits, and price adjustments

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in luxury or premium client-facing roles (retail sales, fashion, hospitality, or equivalent)
  • Exceptional empathy and emotional intelligence with ability to understand and respond to diverse client needs
  • Advanced interpersonal and communication skills with ability to articulate complex product benefits and brand narratives
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and contribute to a collective service mission
  • Familiarity with retail technology platforms (CRM, POS systems) and demonstrated comfort with digital client management tools
  • Native or near-native Japanese language proficiency and business-level English fluency
