Richemont seeks a Client Advisor in Short Hills, NJ — deliver exceptional luxury client service, drive boutique sales, and represent a premier maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, anticipatory service to high-value clients, building long-term relationships and client loyalty.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling, product storytelling and tailored recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date product and brand knowledge across watches, jewellery and accessories to present the maison's heritage and technical features convincingly.
- Manage clienteling activities using the boutique CRM: schedule follow-ups, record interactions, and curate personalised outreach.
- Execute boutique operational tasks including cash handling, POS transactions, stock control, inbound/outbound transfers and visual merchandising standards.
- Coordinate after-sales support and liaise with service centres for repairs, warranties and bespoke client requests.
- Contribute to in-store events, trunk shows and private appointments to drive client engagement and acquisition.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably 1–3 years within luxury, watches, or fine jewellery boutiques.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a professional presence appropriate to a luxury environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational discipline in inventory, cash reconciliation and CRM recordkeeping.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and occasional events; ability to travel locally for client appointments if required.
