Richemont seeks a Sales Associate in Paris — boutique sales role focused on luxury client service, product expertise and achieving sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized customer service in a luxury boutique environment and build lasting client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and effective product presentation.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across the maison’s assortment and communicate provenance, materials and technical details to clients.
- Manage clienteling activities and follow up on leads, appointments and after-sales enquiries to drive repeat business.
- Execute point-of-sale transactions, returns and exchanges accurately while adhering to cash-handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards, window displays and store presentation meet brand guidelines.
- Control stock: receive, organise, conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies in line with loss-prevention policies.
- Support boutique events, private appointments and trunk shows; collaborate with colleagues and backstage teams to deliver premium client experiences.
- Comply with brand, legal and security procedures including authentication and provenance protocols for high-value items.
Qualifications
- Professional presentation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to sell consultatively and to manage long-term client relationships.
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail for transactions and stock control.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to participate in client events.
- Discretion and integrity when handling high-value merchandise and confidential client information.
Skills
Experience
Reasonable retail experience in a luxury or premium boutique setting is preferred; typically 1–3 years selling high-value goods. Prior exposure to clienteling and event-based sales is advantageous.
Education
High-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion, hospitality or a related discipline is an advantage.
