Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, client-focused service to build and nurture long-term relationships with high-net-worth and discerning clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clientelling, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge across the maison's assortment and articulate features, provenance and craftsmanship to clients.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, process transactions, returns and layaways, and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
  • Support visual merchandising and store standards, ensuring displays, stock presentation and boutique appearance meet brand guidelines.
  • Manage stock control activities including receiving, tagging, inventory audits and secure handling of high-value items.
  • Coordinate post-sale client care and follow-up, including appointments, repairs or bespoke requests, in line with brand service protocols.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team and management on client events, trunk shows and local marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven client-facing experience in luxury retail, premium fashion, jewellery or watch environment preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with polished, professional presentation appropriate to a luxury boutique.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail for cash handling, POS transactions and inventory reconciliation.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by boutique operations.
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand.
